ICHK HLY in the news

We are proud to announce that we are the winner in the Primary School category in the AIA Healthiest Schools Competition 2025/26!

Out of so many incredible schools, our commitment to student wellbeing, our outdoor-driven curriculum, and our holistic approach to health have earned us this top honor. ICHK Primary won by quantifying emotional health through a holistic social and emotional learning framework. Data collected via a wellness assessment platform between September 2025 and January 2026 revealed that students’ emotional regulation scores climbed from 69 percent to 74 percent, while general emotional well-being indicators rose from 74 percent to 83 percent.

We will continue working on our school-based wellbeing initiatives to support our students’ flourishing.

We won the Sustainability Award at the International School Awards 2023 hosted by ISC Research!

This win recognizes our Miyawaki tree planting scheme which helps students to take ownership for the natural world and develop an understanding of their role in sustainability.
